What do people think the governent needs to be involved with everything?

The link above is to one of the coolest (warmest) bits i have found for a vw so far. Runs on lp, which is convenient b/c most mid 70's and later westys came equipped with a tank. Automatic thermostat will kick the heater on and off as needed and it has pretty low 12v consumption. In the winter time you start to think about these things... I won't be buying one of these for my current bus. but i would say that there is a pretty good chance that i will have one in the next. So long cold mornings!

Also I met Holt Webb yesterday, He was having some work done on his rig. I thought it was a bit curious that he was traveling in an RV pulling a Land Rove that said "vanishing america" on the side... However when your running cross country on vegetable oil (in both vehicles) its' safe to say your in a different boat. Nice guy, cool project!
