i need to re-think the bus list i have been working on, up till a few days ago i have had my heart set on a bus, bus. since I'm going to end up with a truck (at least for a while.) so far it is as follows:

-engine, probably one from Tim
-fix the floors, I'll have the best replacement metal you can get....
-replace the rear shocks
-wire up lights and stop light (in rear window)
-finish and bleed the breaks
-hoops?
-canvas?
-

getting ready for a weekend adventure, going to pick up the truck... it's going to be a long-ass-drive. I guess i'm excited and dreading it all at the same time. It;s nice to get away and have some alone time, but then again... after so long it gets pretty boring. I've never been to Springfield before, i wonder if it's a cool town.

The guy i'm getting the truck from seems cool, i've talked to him sever times and it will be fun to meet him. I guess he's glad that his truck is going to someone who seemingly cares about it? Regardless I think its cool how you can have so much to talk about with a total stranger... maybe this is how you meet friends; maybe this is how people who like football feel... hummmmm

good weekend, went to cain creek, it was running at a perfect level... there was two inches of snow on the ground when we put on, and ice on all the trees and rocks. I ran vortex, a big step as far as i am concerned. (as pictured) The rapid is pretty easy, just have to have your head together and set up for it. I'm sad melissa couldn't have seen it, one of those things you have to deal with yourself i guess... Suck is next.

messed with the bus a bit today. im getting a bit sick of the lowered bus thing, it fun on the street, i like that people think its "broken," but when you need/ want to go someplace that isn't paved its a handicap for sure. I need to take the spring plates off and cut them down but that will take a few house and i don't have that right now.. . should have done that today but instead i jacked around with the front and accomplished nothing! maybe i'll have time tuseday or wednesday... if we are going to take it camping this weekend i need to make time to do it...

another fun week ahead at work, can't wait.

Work today and then finished up the bus, it's low... it drives funny... it's extremely unpractical, but it looks coooooool! I will never lower a bus again, the next one will have the largest meats i can get under there while keeping the stock setup.

i can make it out of the drive way... the steering box guard drags the whole way... but not near as bad as i though...

still can't find the replacement... it will find me, i guess time is on my side...

Worked on the bus today for a while, adjusted the suspension down in
the front and went down one more spline in the rear. In addition i
also switched back to stock exhaust and fabbed up a cool extension
that snakes back to just behind the wheel, pretty cool if I must say
so, its all about space now... If hadn't stopped to talk I would have
finished...

Bus is going to be super super low, I'm actually a bit concerned about
it making it in and out of the driveway... I think I have an idea, we
will see...

The next bus will be high, but since I have the setup to go low, I
think I'm going to go all the way
