another project starts tomorrow... lots and lots to do. Basically we will be starting from scratch. But then again i guess i always do....
62 double cab, seen below.... its ground down to the bare metal, ready for rust repair. all replacement panels are included... I am going to have to brush up on my welding.
Today i cleaned the shop in preparation, tomorrow i plan on picking it up... the plan is as follows...
-get it home... get in in the shop safe and sound put it up on jack stands
-unpack all the parts and start organizing things
-figure out what trans to use... flipped reduction boxes or type three... type three will be faster and but will require offset spring plates. flipped rgb will have much more torque... especially with the 1776 with DUAL 40mm's
-clean out the bus and arrange replacement panels.
-test electrical,
-the interior will need to be completely re-done...
-after all the panels get welded in it will be time for a sanding, wipe down, primer, sanding, primer, sanding.... paint!
we need not forger the stages of project,
1. excitement
2. overwhelmed
3. frustration
4. anger/ sadness/ cursing and thrown tools.
5. anticipation
6. accomplishment
7. pride / excitement.
regardless, the next week will be busy. School started last week, chatt state starts this week i believe, and "the great search," perhaps the most important venture of them all needs to shift into high gear.
Adventures in no particular order, but mostly chatter about junk.
